Jim Kampmann
Personal Information

Current Residence: Maplewood, Minnesota

Family Status: Wife – Donna

I’ve been building models since I was about 10 years old. My Dad was into planes and I was fascinated with anything on wheels. My first model was an AMT 1/43rd scale Barracuda. I won the first contest I ever entered - a Mustang funny car, at a local hobby shop and made it on TV! It was quite a thrill at 15. Fast forward 30 years and I’m just as passionate about the hobby. After 10 years of owning a resin business I decided it was time to slow down and enjoy building again.
